How much does it cost to use Quote It?We encourage all service providers to try Quote It for free. It’s free to download It’s free to get leads It’s free to submit quotes It’s free to request an in-person quote Sign up and receive 25 credits for free Connection Fee If a client sends you a message, tries to call you, sends you a date or accepts your quote, your account is charged a Connection Fee of 7 credits and you receive the client's contact information. Your account will only be charged once per quote or in-person quote. After your free trial credits are gone, you can top up your wallet with credits and pay-as-you-go or purchase a subscription for unlimited connections. How do I submit quotes?To submit quotes on jobs you must create a service provider account, then select the Quote It button on a Job Details page. A client account cannot submit quotes. If you have already created a client account and want to switch please contact us at support@quoteit.ca.

How do I get jobs?Service providers who have completed their profile and provide detailed quotes get more jobs. Add your company logo and a business description to your profile. Get Verified and upload a picture of your Workers Compensation Insurance, Liability Insurance and Trade Certificate to get Badges. Badges make your company look more reputable to clients. In addition, be as detailed as possible when submitting your quote.

How do I find jobs?You can customize your job feed to only show jobs you’re interested in. Go to the Jobs tab > select the Filter icon > then confirm your location > set your service radius > then add as many services as you like and select Update. Service Radius is the area your business serves.

How do I know if a job has been completed?If a job is still listed on the Jobs feed, it is still active and accepting quotes. Once a quote has been accepted the job is removed from the Jobs feed. Jobs are also automatically removed from the Jobs feed after the job Deadline Date.

How do I change my Lead Alerts?To change your Lead Alerts select Menu > then select Lead Alerts > on the Lead Alerts page enter your Business location > set your service radius > then add up to 5 services and select Update. Service Radius is the area your business serves.

What if I need to see the job before I can submit a quote?If you need to see the job before giving a quote, request an in-person quote. Go to a Job Details page > select In-Person Quote and submit a request to see the job in-person.

How do I contact the client?You will not receive the clients contact information until the client reaches out to you in response to your quote. Before you submit a quote you can ask the client anonymous questions in the Q&A section on the Job Details page. If the client responds to your question with an answer, you cannot reply. If you still have questions you can ask another question.

Why is my question pending?When you submit a custom question it goes to the administrator for approval. If your question violates our Q&A Terms & Conditions, it will be rejected. Learn More

Why was my question rejected?The Q&A section is intended to let service providers ask questions to get details in order to submit a quote. For this reason questions asked in the Q&A section are anonymous. It is prohibited for a service providers to provide pricing or availability. In addition, it is prohibited for a service provider to provide or ask for contact information. If your question violates our Q&A Terms & Conditions, it will be rejected. Learn More

What is the status of my quote?To see the status of your quote, select the Dash tab. The status of each quote is at the top of the quote box.

How do I edit my quote?To edit your quote, select the Dash tab > then select the quote you want to edit > on the Quote Details page select the 3 dot icon, then select Edit Quote. After your quote has been accepted by a client, you can no longer edit your quote.

How do I delete my quote?To delete your quote, select the Dash tab > then select the quote you want to delete > on the Quote Details page select the 3 dot icon, then select Delete Quote. Deleting your quote will also delete any messages you received. After your quote has been accepted by a client, you can no longer delete your quote.

How do I reschedule or cancel an appointment?To reschedule an appointment, select the Dash tab > on the My Quotes tab, select the job with the confirmed appointment > on the Quote Details tab, select Schedule.

How do I review a client?After a client has accepted your quote, if the job is complete, select the Mark Job Done button on the Quote Details page. A request for Job Completed Approval will be sent to the client. After the client approves, you will be able to review the client.

How do I edit my review?To edit a review you have left for a client, go to the My Jobs tab > select the job you left the review for > on the Archive Job Details page, select the 3 dot icon beside your review > then select Edit Review.

I got a bad review from a client, what can I do?Please contact the client directly to resolve the issue. Once the issue is resolved you can ask the client to edit the review.

How do I edit my profile and contact information?To edit your profile and contact information, select Menu > then select Profile > on your Profile page, select the 3 dot icon > then select Edit Profile.

What are Credits?Credits are used to pay Connection Fees and get Paid Features like Top Quote. When your free trial credits are gone, you can top up your wallet with more credits. Learn More

Can I get a subscription to Quote It?Yes, you can purchase a subscription to avoid paying Connection Fees. With a subscription you get unlimited connections with any client for one low price. Subscriptions can be purchased for the following time periods: 1) 1 month = $99 plus tax 2) 3 months = $259 plus tax 3) 6 months = $420 plus tax 4) 1 year = $799 plus tax Learn More about subscriptions.

How do I buy a subscription?To purchase a subscription, select Menu > select My Wallet > on the Subscription tab, select the subscription you want to purchase. Subscription periods start on the date of purchase.

How do I cancel my subscription?You can cancel your subscription at any time by removing your credit card from the Manage Card page. Select Menu > select My Wallet > then select Manage Card.

How do I turn off recurring payments?Your subscription will automatically renew at the start of the new billing period. You can turn off recurring payments by removing your credit card from the Manage Card page. Select Menu > select My Wallet > then select Manage Card.

Can I get a refund?Connection Fees, Paid Features and Subscriptions are non refundable. If you think you have been charged in error please contact us at support@quoteit.ca.

Can I post a job to promote my business?Posting a job that promotes a business is prohibited. We try to ensure all jobs posted on Quote It are real clients looking to get work done. A service provider account can post a job on Quote It if they are looking to get work done or are subcontracting out some work. To avoid business ads from being posted, all jobs posted by service providers must be approved by the administrator before going live on Quote It.

I was charged the Connection Fee but the client is not responding, what can I do?Keep trying to contact the client. You can contact the client directly through the app using the call, message or email features. When you submit a quote or in-person quote on a job posted in the app and a client: sends you a message tries to call you sends you a date accepts your quote Your account will be charged a Connection Fee of 7 credits and you will receive the client's contact information. All Connection Fees are non-refundable.

The client refuses to pay, what can I do?Please contact the client directly to resolve the issue. Payment terms for services rendered are agreed upon by the service provider and client. Quote It does not collect any money from clients on behalf of service providers.

Are quotes submitted by service providers public?Quotes submitted by service providers are private between the service provider and client. The job poster is the only one that can see quotes submitted by service providers.

What are Top Quotes?Top Quote gives service providers a way to promote their quote to clients. By selecting to submit a Top Quote, your quote will appear above all other service providers quotes on the clients quote list. 5 credits will be deducted from your credit balance when you submit a Top Quote. What are star ratings and reviews?When a job is complete, the client and service provider can review each other and upload a picture of the completed job. Only the service provider gets a star rating for the job. The star rating for a job also contributes to the service providers overall star rating. The service providers star rating can be found on their Profile along with a list of their completed jobs. When a job is completed, the client gives the service provider a star rating based on the following criteria: On budget 1-10 On Time 1-10 Quality 1-10 Courteous 1-10

What are Badges?Badges help clients identify accredited service providers. Service providers can have up to 4 badges on their profile. The Verified badge, Workers Compensation Insurance badge, Liability Insurance badge and the Certification badge. To get a badge, select Menu in the app > then select Badges > on the Badges page, select the camera icon beside the Badge > then upload a picture. Learn More

How do I get Verified?To get the Verified badge on your profile, you must upload a picture of your drivers license or passport and a selfie. If the photo on your drivers license or passport matches your selfie, then you get the Verified badge on your profile. Select Menu > then select Badges > on the Badges page, select the camera icon beside the Verified Badge. Learn More

How do I turn notifications and emails on or off?To turn notifications and emails on or off, select Menu > then select Notifications > on the Notifications page, select the notification or email you want to turn on or off. You can also use your phone settings to turn notifications on or off.

How do I unsubscribe from emails?To unsubscribe from emails, open an email from Quote It and select the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

How do I delete my account and personal information?You can delete your personal information, cancel your use of the Platform and/or terminate your Account at any time. To delete your account, select Menu > then select Profile > on your Profile page, select the 3 dot icon > then select Delete Account. To unsubscribe from emails, open an email from Quote It and select the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

How do I report something I saw on Quote It?If you are concerned about anything you see on Quote It, report it right away. You can report content like jobs, users and reviews. To report content, select the 3 dot icon beside the content you want to report > then select Report. When you report something to us, we take it seriously and look into it right way to see if it violates our Terms and Community Standards.

How do I block someone on Quote It?To block a user, go to their Profile > select the 3 dot icon > then select Block User. To Unblock a user, go to their Profile > select the 3 dot icon > then select Unblock User.

How do I hide content I see on Quote It?You can hide content you see on Quote It like jobs, and reviews. To hide content, select the 3 dot icon beside the content you want to hide > then select Hide. To Unhide content, select the 3 dot icon beside the content you want to unhide > then select Unhide.

Why did I receive a warning?Users who violate Quote It’s Terms and Community Standards will receive a warning. Too many warning may result in account suspension. If you receive a warning notification or alert, please check your email for details.
