Quote It is a mobile app available to download on iOS and Android. When you sign up you can create a Client or Service Provider account. If you sign up as a Client you will be able to post jobs. It’s free for clients to post jobs. Payment terms for services rendered are agreed upon by the service provider and client. How much does it cost to use Quote It?

It’s free for clients to use Quote It. Quote It does not collect any money from clients on behalf of service providers. Payment terms for services rendered are agreed upon by the service provider and client.

Service Provider Accounts
We encourage all service providers to try Quote It for free.

 • Sign up and receive 25 credits for free

Connection Fee
If a client sends you a message, tries to call you, sends you a date or accepts your quote, your account is charged a Connection Fee of 8 credits and you receive the clients contact information. Your account will only be charged once per quote or in-person quote.

How do I post a job?

How do I submit quotes?

To submit a quote on a job, you must create a service provider account, then select the Quote It button on a Job Details page. A client account cannot submit quotes. If you have already created a client account and you want to switch to a Service Provider account, go to any Job Details page and select the Quote It button. Then you will be guided through the process to switch your account.

I didn’t get an email Verification Code, what can I do?

If you did not receive an email please check your junk, spam, notifications and promotions folders. Please also add no-reply@quoteit.ca (mailto:no-reply@quoteit.ca)to your contacts. You can resend the email from the Code Verification page in the app. Confirm you have entered the correct email and change it if there is a mistake. Then resend the code.

I forgot my password, how do I reset it?

To reset your password, go to the Sign In page and select the Forgot Password link.

I can't login or my email / password is invalid, what can I do?

Please make sure you have entered your correct email and password. Please also make sure there are no spaces before or after your email or password. The app is frozen or a button is not working, what can I do?

If the app is unresponsive, force quit the app, then reopen the app. You can also check for app updates or delete the app and reinstall the app on your device.

How do I reschedule or cancel an appointment?

To reschedule or cancel an appointment, select My Jobs tab in the app > select View Quotes > select the quote with a confirmed appointment > on the Quote Details tab, select Schedule.

How do I report something I saw on Quote It?

If you are concerned about anything you see on Quote It, report it right away. You can report content like jobs, users and reviews. To report content, select the 3 dot icon beside the content you want to report > then select Report. When you report something to us, we take it seriously and look into it right way to see if it violates our  Terms (https://www.quoteit.ca/terms)and Community Standards.(https://www.quoteit.ca/community-standards)

How do I block someone on Quote It?

To block a user, go to their Profile > select the 3 dot icon > then select Block User. To Unblock a user, go to their Profile > select the 3 dot icon > then select Unblock User.

How do I hide content I see on Quote It?

Accepted Answer

You can hide content you see on Quote It like jobs, and reviews. To hide content, select the 3 dot icon beside the content you want to hide > then select Hide. To Unhide content, select the 3 dot icon beside the content you want to unhide > then select Unhide.

How do I turn notifications and emails on or off?

Accepted Answer

To turn notifications and emails on or off, select Menu > then select Notifications > on the Notifications page, select the notification or email you want to turn on or off. You can also use your phone settings to turn notifications on or off.
